This template is typically used at the start of a section, directly below the section header, and is used to link to an article which is related to the topic of the section. The optional parameter {{{for}}} can be used to explain how the linked article is related.

For articles related to an entire article, use a See also section. If the article's subject is the same as the section's, use Template:Main.
